I hope you enjoyed my talk about the why, wherefore and what of social media. How we use technology is endlessly fascinating. And it will continue to change in surprising ways and with blazing speed. Let’s all work to use social media and technology as a force for good. Below you will find links to books and blogs that will continue our conversation.
If you’d like a copy of my slides, you can download them here.
I hope you’ll sign up in the email box at left for occasional updates about what is new in the e-publishing world.
I offer a limited number of hands-on coaching sessions if you want help setting up a Facebook page, a LinkedIn account or getting on Twitter. The rate is $300 for a one-hour face-to-face session. I will come to your home or office but you must be located within walking distance of O and 31st Streets. Reserve your session.
Feel free to contact me if you have questions.
Sign up for the Georgetown Listserv
As we discussed at the meeting, the Georgetown Listserv (which is run by CAG) is an invaluable resource if you have questions – or answers – about the practicalities of living in Georgetown. Go to GeorgetownForum.com and click the blue Join This Group button. You will be prompted for your email address. You will then be able to choose either a daily or an individual email update. I recommend the daily update as the list is quite active.
